Carbon & Clay Facial Bar
Every so often, a standalone batch captures our attention in the studio and demands its own spotlight. Meet Carbon & Clay, a handcrafted goat milk facial bar created for a deep, refreshing cleanse without losing the creamy, conditioning qualities we love in a facial soap.
Activated charcoal is paired with two mineral-rich clays—bentonite and kaolin—to help cleanse away everyday impurities and excess surface oil. Colloidal oatmeal adds a gentle, comforting touch, making this a beautifully balanced charcoal and clay cleansing bar.
At the heart of Carbon & Clay is a rich foundation of tallow and fresh, whole goat milk from our own Grace Hill Farm herd, creating the creamy lather that makes this bar feel quite different from many conventional charcoal soaps.
A crisp blend of tea tree and lemon essential oils gives the bar its fresh, clean botanical aroma.
The Ritual
Wet the bar and work it between your hands to create a creamy lather. Gently massage the lather over damp skin using circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.
Allow the bar to dry thoroughly between uses to help extend its life.

The Story Behind the Bar
Carbon & Clay began as an unexpected turn during product development. The batch didn't develop the appearance originally envisioned, but the resulting facial bar deserved an identity of its own.
Rather than letting a perfectly good handcrafted soap go unnoticed, we gave it a name: Carbon & Clay.
This batch was introduced as a Limited Edition release. If it earns a permanent place in our Farm-to-Skin collection, you may just see Carbon & Clay return.
