Grace Hill Farm Heritage Shave Soap is handcrafted specifically for traditional wet shaving. Rather than using a standard bath-soap formula, Heritage combines beef tallow, stearic acid, coconut oil and castor oil in a dual-lye formula designed to create the rich, creamy lather and smooth glide wanted from a shaving soap.
Aloe vera juice is incorporated into the formula, while kaolin clay adds slip as the razor moves across the skin.
Each round shaving puck is handcrafted in small batches at Grace Hill Farm in Northern Colorado. Because each puck is handmade, slight variations in color, surface and texture are natural.
Use with your favorite shaving brush. Wet the brush with warm water and shake out the excess. Load the brush directly from the puck using circular motions. Build the lather in a shaving bowl or mug, or directly on damp skin, adding small amounts of water until the desired creamy consistency is reached.
After use, allow the shaving soap to dry between shaves to help extend the life of the puck.

How to Use
Place the shaving puck in a shaving mug or bowl. Wet a shaving brush with warm water and shake out the excess. Work the damp brush over the surface of the puck in circular motions to load the brush, then build the lather in your shaving bowl or directly on damp skin.
Apply the creamy lather to the area to be shaved and shave as usual. Rinse thoroughly.
Allow the puck to dry between uses to help extend its life.
